PRESS RELEASE: Restore the Los Angeles County Republic Launches Official Website
November 17, 2009 10:24 PM
Los Angeles, CA - Restore the Los Angeles County Republic has officially launched its Internet operations with the release of its website www.RestoreLA.us, bringing its local message of empowering average citizens to reclaim their government to a national audience.
"Our website will be the centerpiece in our efforts to fully engage every American to take part in their government." said Anthony Cinelli, Restore LA's President and Founder. "The Internet is truly the great equalizer, giving a voice to those that have historically been without one. Through our website, Restore LA will work tirelessly to provide the tools and resources everyday Americans can use to get back in the fight for our Republic, restoring their full representation in government, and thus ensuring the freedom and prosperity of our great nation for future generations."
The Restore LA website has been built utilizing the latest and greatest in Internet technology, exclusively employing Free and Open Source Software to keep development costs to a minimum while dramatically increasing reliability and performance. The servers that host the Restore LA website are housed in the world renown One Wilshire Building, a state-of-the-art data center located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, that is also home to some of the biggest names on the Internet, such as Vonage, AT&T, Verizon, Time Warner, and Google.
"Having extensively worked in the high-tech Internet world since 1985, I've seen first hand how quickly great ideas and inspirational messages can spread on the web. It was critical the technology our website was built upon was able to meet that demand and go from 'zero to sixty' overnight if needed." explains Cinelli, "I'm extremely confident that the Restore LA's core message of having people take back their government, root out political corruption, and elect hard-working, honest, everyday people to public office will be one of those messages that truly resonates with most Americans and ultimately go viral and spread like wildfire. And, when our message does go viral, Restore LA now has the website and the technology behind it to not only fully support that type of wildfire success, but also to sustain and build upon that success for years to come."
Future plans for the website include an "Elections" section that will provide complete coverage of Los Angeles County elections, a "Campaigns" section that will focus on key issues and events that have a major impact on politics and government, and a "People" section highlighting both the individuals responsible for the problems in our government and the individuals that work diligently to fix those problems. The most important section of the website will be its "Action" section, that will provide visitors with a clear plan on how they can get directly involved and help get our country back on track starting with Los Angeles County.

Restore the Los Angeles County Republic:
Restore the Los Angeles County Republic (Restore LA) is a non-profit, multi-partisan organization created in June 2009 to fight all forms of tyranny in government today, to root out political corruption, and to oust elected officials that wish to rule rather than serve the people. Restore LA seeks out and supports all candidates for public office within Los Angeles County that understand and honor their contract with the people that elect them, candidates that are true servants of the people and thus righteously uphold our republican form of government. Restore LA seeks to end the existence of "career politicians" and replace them with part-time governance by, of, and for real people that are actually involved in the day-to-day activities of the communities they represent. By first creating and executing a model of how our Republic can be restored in Los Angeles County, Restore LA will set a national precedent other counties in other states throughout the country can then follow to affect true representative and sustainable "bottom-up" change in their own communities. It is this grassroots powered change that will reverse the current "top-down", wasteful, bureaucratic process of decision making that is practiced in our government today and ensure a free and prosperous future for our United States of America.
