A Welcome Message from our President and Founder, Anthony Cinelli:

     Hello and welcome to Restore the Los Angeles County Republic, a multi-partisan organization whose primary goal is to ensure that the voice of every American is not only heard by our government and those that we elect to serve us, but is actually listened to and acted upon, providing true citizen representation, the very foundation of our Republic. For far too long, political and governmental corruption has had a stranglehold on our elected officials. Outside special interests spend millions upon millions of dollars lobbying our officials, and have been very successful in getting these elected officials, supposed 'public servants', to put the needs of the special interests ahead of the needs of we the people, creating a government that has essentially become "bought and paid for" by the highest bidder.
    
     A very wise man once said, "No one can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other." Restore LA fully recognizes that as an elected official, it is impossible to both "serve the people and serve the money." And, unfortunately in today's America, far too many elected officials have turned away from serving the people, and are now instead serving outside special interests in exchange for financial reward and political favor. True citizen representation, as gifted to us by our country's founding fathers in the form of our Republic, the form of government so prominently displayed on our state flag of California, is being taken from us with each passing day, with every dollar spent by special interests to influence corrupt politicians. Our Republic stands to be completely abolished unless we, as concerned and fully engaged citizens, stand up now to defend our representation and fight to protect our freedoms for generations of Americans to come.
    
     This is a call to all American citizens to join together and form a citizen alliance for the sole purpose of restoring our republican form of government starting with Los Angeles County, building a model of success the rest of the country can follow. True citizen representation as provided to us locally in Los Angeles County by our California Republic, and by our United States Constitution nationwide, is about as non-political and American as apple pie. I ask that as American citizens, we all put aside our political differences and realize that as long as special interest money runs our government, none of our citizen political views and visions will be truly represented by our "bought-and-paid for" elected officials. Restore LA was formed to bring all of us regular, hard-working, honest Americans together as one, regardless of the amount of money you do or don't have in your bank account, to work together and clean up our local governments and reclaim them as our own once again.

     Your decision to join the Restore LA alliance can be easily made by asking yourself two simple questions:

1. Do I feel that my views and interests are not being truly represented by my elected officials?

...and if your answer to that question is yes:

2. Do I want to join other engaged American citizens to restore my true representation in government and help Restore the Los Angeles County Republic, providing a model for others to restore their republic throughout the country?

     If your answer is again yes, I ask you to please join our Restore LA alliance today to help Restore the Los Angeles County Republic, whether you reside in Los Angeles County, or somewhere else in country. Being the largest county in the country, as Los Angeles County goes, so goes our California Republic, and ultimately as will our entire great nation, "to the Republic for which it stands." For 2010, Restore LA will be working on the following initiatives:

- Investigate and report on fraud, waste, and abuse involving LA County elected officials
- Seek out and support LA County candidates for public office that understand and honor their contract with the people, upholding our true representative, republican form of government
- Increase Restore LA alliance membership through local in-person and national internet outreach
